Biography

Carole Méthot (sometimes known as Carole The Artist) is a Montreal-based makeup and hair artist with over a decade of experience spanning across various industries, from beauty and fashion editorial, to moving image and live performance, all the way to prosthetics and mask fabrication. Originally from a small town in Quebec, Carole moved to Vancouver to study makeup artistry at the prestigious Blanche Macdonald Centre at the age of 19. She has since built a reputation for her innovative approach, blending technical expertise with her artistic vision.
She has worked with photographers Fatine-Violette Sabiri, Fred Gervais, Alex Gilbert, Hugo Labrecque, Sarah Pardini, Éamonn Freel, Étienne Saint Denis, Kane Ocean, Léa Taillefer.
Artists she has collaborated with include Hubert Lenoir, Tyler The Creator, Pomme, Isabella Lovestory, Gabbois, Tommy Cash, Cecile Believe, Yves Tumor, Marie Davidson, Emma Beko, TOPS, Claudia Bouvette, Lou Adrianne, and Safia Nolin.
